Each issue aims to showcase high-impact studies—from local case analyses to broad comparative research—that illuminate understanding of social structures and dynamics. We are committed to continuous improvement and responsiveness to our authors and readers. All articles include English titles and abstracts to reach an international audience. About CJSS
The CELT Journal of Social Sciences (CJSS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal established in 2025 by the CELT Educational Consultancy Centre. CJSS publishes quarterly and welcomes innovative research across the spectrum of social sciences. Typical subject areas include sociology, political science, education, psychology, communication studies, anthropology, and related interdisciplinary fields to ensure global accessibility; every article is published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license and is assigned a permanent DOI for citation and linking. We employ a rigorous double‑blind review process (see Peer Review Process) to maintain high academic standards.CJSS content is indexed in major scholarly repositories; for example, it is listed in Google Scholar and ROAD, and applications are pending for inclusion in DOAJ, Scopus, and Web of Science.
- Scope: Interdisciplinary social sciences (sociology, political science, education, psychology, communication, anthropology, etc.).
- Peer Review: Double‑blind review by at least two experts.
- Publication: Quarterly, open access (CC BY 4.0), with DOI assigned to each article.
- Indexing: Available on Google Scholar and other databases; Scopus and Web of Science inclusion is in process.
Journal Scope
The CELT Journal of Social Sciences embraces a broad scope within social science disciplines. We publish theoretical and empirical work on topics such as:
- Sociology (e.g. social theory, demography, inequality)
- Political Science (e.g. governance, public policy, comparative politics)
- Education (e.g. pedagogy, educational policy, learning theory)
- Psychology (e.g. social psychology, behavioral studies, mental health)
- Communication Studies (e.g. media, journalism, digital communication)
- Anthropology (e.g. cultural studies, human development, social anthropology)
- Interdisciplinary studies: Work bridging these areas, such as political sociology or educational psychology.
Studies with local, regional, or global perspectives are all welcome. We accept qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research, provided it meets academic standards. (For business-focused research, please see CELT’s Business Research journal.) All articles must fit within the stated aims and contribute new insights to the social sciences. English-language abstracts ensure readability by an international audience.
Journal License
CJSS is an open access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This means anyone may freely read, download, and reuse our content for any legal purpose, including commercial use, as long as proper credit is given to the authors. The CC BY license supports maximum dissemination and engagement with the research. Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to publish it under the CC BY terms. The license statement is clearly displayed on each article.
Journal Indexing
CJSS is committed to broad discoverability of its content. Our articles are indexed in and accessible via:

We have applied for inclusion in major indexing databases. Our DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) application is pending. Applications for Scopus and Web of Science are submitted, in line with Scopus’s continuous evaluation process. Once approved, our journal and articles will be listed there. The CELT Journal of Social Sciences (CJSS) serves as a multidisciplinary forum for cutting-edge research in social sciences. Established in 2026, CJSS is the official social sciences journal within the CELT Journals platform. It publishes original research articles, review papers, and theoretical studies that advance understanding of social phenomena. All content is peer‑reviewed and written in English to reach a global audience. CJSS has an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) and a defined publication schedule to meet Scopus’s technical criteria. In line with best practices, CJSS provides a publicly available description of its peer review process and a comprehensive ethics statement on this website. The editorial team is committed to integrity and transparency, drawing on COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) standards and other industry guidelines.
